Chaska Police Seize 15 Pounds of Marijuana from the Mail
The Chaska Police Department and the US Postal Inspection Service worked together to seize 15 pounds of marijuana from the US Mail.
Officials say the package had been mailed from out-of-state and contained seven bricks of marijuana with a street value of more than $7,000.
A teen and a man, both from Chaska, tried to pick-up the package.
Police say the 17-year-old boy tried to accept delivery of the package using a fake name. The boy and his adult accomplice were both arrested for felony drug possession charges after they drove away with the marijuana.
Authorities believe the marijuana was going to be sold in the Chaska community.
Come on people not in the mail.
