Man Arrested In Marijuana Drug Bust

A 28-year-old man was arrested Friday afternoon after Kingsland police said they found materials and equipment used to package, weigh and distribute marijuana, along with other illegal paraphernalia and weapons.

Police said they acted on information developed during an investigation that led them to search a home in the 250 block of Pine Bluff Drive, where they arrested Sean Irvin.

Officers said they seized about 4.03 pounds of processed marijuana, a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, a loaded Ruger P-95 9 mm pistol, a loaded .22-caliber rim-fire rifle, two sets of scales used that contained marijuana residue, and a 2002 Ford Expedition.

Irvin is charged with violations of Georgia's controlled substance act, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and distribute, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
