authorities find hundreds of pounds of marijuana at Memorial Park inside an abandoned vehicle.
El Paso County sheriff's deputies on Thursday around 8:15 p.m. stopped to check a 2002 Nissan Altima at Memorial Park located at 1701 N. Copia in central.
The vehicle was found parked near the Aquatic Center, said deputy Jesse Tovar.
A total of 667.5 pounds of marijuana was found inside the vehicle.
Tovar also said the vehicle had current Texas registration and vehicle inspection stickers and Mexican license plates.
The Sheriff’s Office said they are continuing to investigate this incident.
