NIAGARA FALLS, Ont.—Eight pounds of dried marijuana along with 145 marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of $258,000 (Canadian) were seized Thursday from a Niagara Falls grow operation, Niagara Regional Police reported Friday.
Authorities executed a pair of search warrants at 5803 Glenholme Ave. and found the mature marijuana plants growing outside along the property fence line.
Police charged Marcello Dimartino, 49, of Niagara Falls, Ont., with production of a controlled substance and production for the purpose of trafficking. Dimartino was released pending a future court date.
